2. Service Description
Desco Garage Door Repair provides residential and commercial garage door services across Massachusetts, including but not limited to:
- Garage door repair (springs, cables, rollers, panels, openers)
- New garage door installation
- Garage door opener repair and replacement
- Off-track door realignment
- Same-day and 24/7 emergency service
- Maintenance and tune-up service
3. Estimates & Pricing
All written estimates are valid for 30 days from issue. Verbal quotes given over the phone are preliminary and may change after on-site inspection. Final pricing is determined after technician inspection and your written approval before any work begins. Free estimates are provided when work is performed; a service-call fee may apply if no work is performed (you will be informed in advance).
4. Scheduling & Same-Day Service
Same-day service is offered subject to technician availability. Calls placed before 2:00 PM typically receive same-day service. Emergency dispatches (broken springs, doors stuck open, off-track doors) operate 24/7 and will be prioritized but cannot be guaranteed within a specific time window due to traffic and weather conditions.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).
- Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.
- Past-due balances accrue 1.5% interest per month (18% APR).
- For commercial accounts, NET-15 terms may be available with credit approval.
6. Warranty
All repairs include a parts-and-labor warranty as described on our Warranty page. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, modification, or normal wear-and-tear of consumable items.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment with at least 2 hours' notice without penalty. Cancellations with less notice may incur a $50 trip-charge fee.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Massachusetts law, Desco Garage Door Repair's total liability arising from any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost time, lost income, or vehicle damage caused by an inoperable door.
9. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reasonable access to the garage door area on the day of service
- Ensure pets and children are kept clear of the work area
- Disclose any known structural issues with the garage or door frame
- Promptly inspect completed work and report concerns within 7 days
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site (text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software) is owned by or licensed to Desco Garage Door Repair and protected by US copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
11. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Site or our services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe on the rights of others
