Warranty Coverage by Service
Spring Replacement — Lifetime Warranty on Parts
The high-cycle torsion and extension springs we install carry a lifetime warranty on the part itself. If a spring breaks under normal residential use within its expected lifespan (25,000+ cycles), we replace it free of charge. Labor is covered for the first 12 months.
Garage Door Opener Installation — 5 Years Parts, 1 Year Labor
New LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Genie openers we install carry the manufacturer's full warranty (typically 5 years on motor, 1 year on accessories) plus our 1-year labor warranty. Battery backup units carry a 1-year warranty on the battery.
Cable, Roller, & Hinge Replacement — 2 Years Parts & Labor
All garage door cables, rollers, and hinges we install are warrantied for 2 years against defects in materials or workmanship.
Panel Replacement — Manufacturer's Warranty
Replacement panels carry the original manufacturer's limited warranty (varies by brand and model — typically 1-3 years on the panel finish, lifetime on structural integrity for steel panels). Our installation labor is warrantied for 1 year.
New Garage Door Installation — Up to 25 Years on Door
New doors carry the manufacturer's full warranty (Clopay, Amarr, CHI, Wayne Dalton — typically 5–25 years depending on model and material). Our installation labor and any hardware we provide are warrantied for 2 years.
General Repairs — 1 Year Parts & Labor
For any other repair work not listed above, we offer a 1-year parts-and-labor warranty against defects in our work.
What's Covered
- Defects in parts we supplied
- Defects or errors in our installation/repair workmanship
- Premature failure of warranted components under normal use
What's Not Covered
- Damage caused by accident, vehicle impact, or weather events (storms, flooding)
- Damage from misuse, abuse, modifications, or unauthorized repairs by others
- Normal wear-and-tear of consumable items (rollers, weatherstripping)
- Cosmetic issues that do not affect function (minor scratches, fading)
- Issues caused by failure to perform recommended annual maintenance
- Acts of God, vandalism, or pest damage
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Call us at (339) 399-4119 and describe the issue.
- Provide the date of service and original invoice number (we keep records on file too).
- We schedule a warranty service visit, typically within 1–2 business days (sooner for safety issues).
- Our technician inspects the issue. If covered, we repair or replace at no cost to you.
